Every Green Stitch piece is thoughtfully handmade using natural, eco-friendly fibers such as 100% cotton, recycled cotton, bamboo yarn, and canvas linings. With proper care, your item can last for years while maintaining its beauty, structure, and softness.

Washing Instructions

Most Green Stitch bags can be washed safely.
To protect the texture, shape, and handmade construction:

For Cotton & Recycled Cotton Crochet Bags

• Machine wash on cold
• Use gentle/delicate cycle
• Mild detergent only
• Turn the bag inside out if lined

For Bamboo Fiber Bags

• Hand wash in cold water preferred
• OR machine wash cold / delicate
• Use mild detergent
• Avoid wringing or twisting the bag

Important: Some natural shrinkage may occur due to the cotton fibers. This is normal for handmade, natural-fiber fabrics.

Drying Instructions

• Air dry only
• Lay flat on a clean towel
• Shape gently while damp
• Avoid direct sunlight to preserve color
• Do not hang (may stretch the strap)

Never:

• ❌ Do not bleach
• ❌ Do not tumble dry
• ❌ Do not iron or press
• ❌ Do not dry clean

Storage

To keep your bag looking fresh:

• Store in a cool, dry place
• Keep away from sharp objects
• Place tissue or soft cloth inside to help maintain shape
• Avoid long-term hanging (can stretch crocheted handles)

Care for Wooden Handles & Beads

Some designs include wooden accents.

• Wipe with a slightly damp cloth
• Avoid soaking or submerging wood
• Allow to air dry completely before storage
