Every Green Stitch item is handcrafted using 100% cotton fibers, cotton or canvas lining, and intentionally selected materials that are biodegradable, renewable, and gentle on the planet.
We prioritize slow fashion, small-batch production, and waste-reduced craftsmanship to create long-lasting pieces you can feel good about.

2. Are all Green Stitch bags handmade?

Yes — every handbag, tote, crossbody, wearable, and accessory is hand-crocheted or hand-constructed with care.
No mass production. No shortcuts.
Each piece is one-of-a-kind, and slight variations are a natural part of its handmade charm.

3. What materials do you use?

We use:

  • 100% cotton yarn fibers
  • 100% cotton or cotton-canvas lining
  • Durable, eco-friendly closures like wood buttons, zippers, or crochet straps

Our focus is on natural fibers and ethically sourced materials whenever possible.

4. How durable are Green Stitch bags?

Cotton crochet is surprisingly strong!
With proper care, your Green Stitch bag can last years.
The cotton fibers are breathable, flexible, and reinforced to maintain structure and withstand everyday use — grocery runs, beach days, outings, or travel.

5. How do I care for my bag?

To keep your piece looking its best:

  • Machine wash cold with gentle detergent
  • Lay flat to air dry
  • Do not bleach
  • Do not iron
  • Do not tumble-dry
  • Expect slight natural shrinkage due to the 100% cotton construction

6. Are your bags lined?

Yes.
Most bags include a 100% cotton or cotton canvas lining for extra structure, durability, and a clean interior finish.
Some lightweight beach totes may be unlined depending on the design.

7. Do you accept custom orders?

At this time, Green Stitch creates small-batch, curated designs, and custom orders may be limited depending on availability.
If you have a request, feel free to reach out — we’ll let you know if we can accommodate it.

8. Where do you ship?

We currently ship within Canada and the U.S.
If you are located internationally and would like to purchase, send us a message — we may be able to arrange special shipping.

9. How long will my order take to ship?

Ready-made items typically ship within 3–5 business days.
Handmade pre-orders, if offered, may require additional crafting time, which will be clearly stated on the product page.

10. What is your return policy?

Due to the handmade nature of our products, all sales are final.
However, if you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days so we can make it right.

11. Are your packaging materials eco-friendly?

Yes — whenever possible, we use:

  • recyclable packaging
  • paper-based or compostable wraps
  • minimal plastic

Sustainability doesn’t stop at our products — it’s part of our entire process.
