Green Stitch Returns & Exchanges Policy

At Green Stitch, each item is handmade with care, using sustainable materials and thoughtful design. We take pride in crafting unique, eco-friendly pieces — and we want you to love what you receive. Because our goods are made by hand and often made to order, we handle returns and exchanges with both fairness and environmental responsibility in mind.

Our Commitment

We stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of every Green Stitch product. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or not as described, please contact us — we’ll make it right as quickly and sustainably as possible.

Returns

Since our items are handmade to order, we encourage mindful purchasing. However, we do accept returns under the following conditions:

  • Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery.
  • Items must be unused, unwashed, and in their original condition, with all tags or packaging intact.
  • To request a return, please email dcampbe67@yahoo.ca with your order number and reason for return.

Once approved, we’ll provide instructions for sending your item back.

Note: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item arrived damaged or defective.

Exchanges

We happily accept exchanges for sizing issues or if you’d like a different color or style (where available).

  • Exchange requests must be made within 14 days of delivery.
  • Items must be returned in original, unworn condition.
  • Please allow 5–7 business days for your new handmade item to be crafted and shipped once your exchange is received.

Handmade & Sustainable Character

Every Green Stitch piece is handmade, meaning no two items are exactly alike.
Slight variations in color, stitching, or texture are part of what makes each piece beautifully unique and not considered defects.

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and sustainability reasons, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Custom-made or personalized items
  • Gift cards or sale items
  • Intimate wear or products marked as final sale

Our Eco-Conscious Approach to Returns

Every shipment has an environmental footprint. To help us reduce waste and emissions, we encourage you to:

  • Review product details and sizing charts carefully before ordering
  • Contact us before purchase with any questions — we’re always happy to help
  • Consider an exchange rather than a return whenever possible

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you via email.
Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your payment provider.
